Which inflatable sup is right for me? If you are buying your first sup, all-round boards are a safe choice: they are usually around 10'6" long and 32" wide - ideal for recreational paddling, beginners and families. For more sporty tours on lakes or rivers, we recommend touring boards, which are narrower and longer and therefore glide faster through the water. The right volume and load capacity are crucial: your body weight plus any luggage should be well supported so that the board remains stable. Also look out for quality features such as welded seams, rigid dropstitch constructions and robust paddles.
