The sic raptor wing was developed and extensively tested by our team on Maui and in Europe. The leading edge of the wing is made of an ultra-stiff, non-stretch Dacron. This improves airflow, flight stability and prevents the leading edge seams from bulging. Expect nimble turns, explosive lift and smooth sailing at wind.
The high aspect ratio of the wing provides tremendous performance, and the shorter wingspan reduces the likelihood of the wingtip dragging in the water when powering up, turning, jibing and touching down.
The raptor wing uses an in-flow panel that connects the canopy to the control strut and ensures the wing maintains the most efficient aerodynamic profile when accelerating and cruising.
Our Triple Dura- force canopy material, a high performance fabric, is reinforced by a unique coating process. Triple Dura- force sets the standard for breaking strength, tear resistance, UV protection, stretch and overall durability. Feel the tight, clean signature that only an umbrella built with Dura- force can offer.
