The 2021 SCI-FLY XR is a modern shortboard designed for aerials and progressive freeriding - now with XR Construction, a hybrid EPS construction for optimal balance of weight, strength and performance. The 2021 SCI-FLY's, a progressive freeride- shortboard, is built with the XR construction, an evolution of the popular hybrid-EPS construction. With bamboo and carbon reinforcements, the XR construction creates the perfect blend of weight and strength, giving you the most powerful true surfboard feel to handle all the rigours of kiteboarding. The shortened nose of the SCI-FLY XR significantly reduces swing weight and provides a central control point on the board, making airs, spins and skatestyle tricks easier than any other board. The parallel rail outline reduces drag and increases speed on the water to get more drive and pop without jeopardising stability or landing comfort. Its progressive and extremely modern winged-diamond tail provides maximum control and drive a smooth and clean take-off from the water during boosts and aerial tricks
