The High Aspect HA1450 is the bigger brother of the HA1250 and is designed for heavier riders or days with less wind. Very efficient with great buoyancy, speed, glide and pumpability in flat or choppy water. The HA1450 has a large span in relation to chord length and a relatively thin profile - similar to a glider wing. With this type of wing you generate maximum efficiency and lift. The short chord length determines the airfoil thickness, and a thin airfoil reduces drag. The span provides stability and a slightly larger turning radius than a wing with a lower aspect ratio and the same size.
