We started with a compact outline with forward foil placement that reduces swing weight and allows for precise foil control. The key to the design was a flat, concave railchine that makes the board both easy to get on and float while waiting for the next gust. Since touchdowns happen regardless of skill level and a nice, smooth deflect is beneficial for all riders, we added an extra touch of nose rocker so you can jump back on the foil. The list of features on the wing Raider V1 is extensive and aims to make the pursuit of progression easier for every rider. COMPACT OUTLINE SHAPE
- This shape reduces the swing weight and enables precise foil control.
FLAT CONCAVE rails
- To get as much stability as possible in any size, we opted for a flat concave railchine that makes it easier to get up and float while waiting for the next gust.
Nose rocker
- To complement the V-hull, we have added an additional nose rocker which ensures a smooth touchdown of the board.
Rail- deck-CHANNELS
- The rails of the wing boards are under a lot of stress, which is why we have installed rail deck channels to reinforce them. This gives you a secure grip on the rail when getting on the board.
VERSATILE CARRYING HANDLE
- It can be a challenge to safely separate board, foil and wing when getting on and off in rough conditions, so we've included a carry handle on the underside.
OUT-THE-BACK foil TRACKS
- To get you on the water with ease and efficiency, we've equipped the wing Raider with one of our favourite features: Out-the-back foil Tracks. Connecting and disconnecting the profile is now quicker and easier than you could ever imagine.
